Ularu Trek Another one of my favorite shots of Ayers Rock. The desert is greener than it usually is because they had so much rain recently. We are told that it is a treat to see the desert in lush green, however, I came to see the famous 'red desert'! The Aborigines call Ayers Rock Ularu. Some rocks and pieces of nature are very sacred to the aborigines, and some say you shouldn't climb the rock because it is sacred. But it's not really true.
