The next stop that day was Ginkakuji Temple.

I took a taxi over to it which is expensive, but it's a whole different experience from cabs anywhere else. The drivers are dressed in suits with white gloves and all. The cars are clean and all of them look new. Don't bother even touching the door, they all open and close automatically!

So I rode in luxury to this temple known for its wonderful hillside gardens and raked sand garden. This is an entirely outdoor window which acted as a nice frame for the gardens.
