Himeji Shinkosan station back to Kyoto. The Shinkosan is the Japan high speed railroad and damn is it HIGH SPEED! It feels more like you are riding in an airplane than a train. Smooth and fast! The shinkosan and my rail pass combination made a large part of Japan accessible for day trips. I returned to Kyoto and stayed at the Rykosan that night. Early in the morning I left for Hiroshima.
