Hiroshima I decided to visit Hiroshima during the day and stay in Kobe for the night. However, you could do Hiroshima as a day trip from Kyoto no problem if you start early enough. Upon arrival I stored my backpack in a station locker and headed to the Peace Memorial Park. This is the A-Bomb Dome. It stands just about under where the atomic bomb went off.
