Hiroshima
Statue of a mother protecting her children from the blast with the museum in the back.

The most disturbing items in my opinion was the final displays shown. They were simple drawings from people who survived the blast along with descriptions of what they drew.

Many of those drawings and memories were painfully touching and horrid. The childlike drawings done by witnesses, who apologized for being poor artists, brought me to the day more than any of the many photos or realistic recreations around the museum.

After Hiroshima I stayed the night in Kobe for the sole purpose of dining on their infamous Kobe beef.

The challenge was to find the RIGHT steak house.
