Tokyo

Let me explain Tokyo. It's a sprawling city with certain popular regions that have their own personalities. Ginza is high fashion shopping. Ueno is museums. Akasaka is endless streets of electronics. Roppongi is restaurants and nightlife. And Shinjuku (pictured) is business district and sleazy nightlife, my home base. Misguided by information that Shinjuku was the center of nightlife, I didn't realize just what sort of nightlife they meant.
I essentially spent the final few days in Japan roaming the different areas. I went to Ginza when it was raining because it has extensive underground shopping areas. As well as many interesting buildings full of shopping such as the Sony building displaying all the new games and technology.
The National Museum in Ueno was a nice trip out of the rain. And I caught a special show on Buddhist art.
