Tokyo The Roppongi area is lined with sex clubs that cater to tourists, as well as harassing masseurs that roam the streets at night. However, there are some real fun restaurants and bars in the area too, expensive as they may be. It was great fun going bar hopping here. I tried, however, to avoid the more popular Westernized bars and clubs that are plentiful in this area. Instead I ended up in some real nice local places that had amazing food and service. This is the one area you are most likely to run into westerners. This picture is from one of the main streets of Shinjuku. There is a great energy in the streets at night with all the bars and restaurants and of course the Japanese red light district. But since they mostly only cater to Japanese I was harassed by few.
