Milford Sound I flew into Queenstown and arranged accomodations at the tourist desk at the airport. The very next day I took a day trip to nearby Milford Sound. The sound (which is really a fjord) is near the start of a hiking trail called the Milford Track. Supposedly the most spectacular hike in the world. It takes about 4 days and over 50 miles up and down mountains to complete it. Along the trail you pass the world's 2nd tallest waterfall.
