Queenstown Getting off the plane in Queenstown you are hit with this stunning view of the snow capped mountains, fall colored trees and blue blue water of the lake. It took my breath away. This is a view of Queenstown from the mountain it is nestled against. There is a nice little gondola ride up to the top where there is a restaurant and various crazy activities like paragliding down to the town, bungee jumping, and a luge ride. I did none of these.
