Queenstown
Queenstown = Outdoor activities

The first of the three adventures for this day was white water rafting. Shorty (top right) was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and great fun.

Towards the end of our rafting trip we were entering a 180 foot tunnel. Everyone in the boat was told to duck down when Shorty yells out, "tunnel positions", except for me. Being that I was situated in the front of the boat I was supposed to remember to keep my head down while leaning out the front of the raft and steering with my paddle however he says to.

So tunnel position time came and we entered the dark tunnel. I of course forgot to lower my head and I hard later that I came very close to the ceiling several times. And as for steering by his directions, forget it, I couldn't hear a thing he was saying, so I just steered on my own.

Making it out of the tunnel the first thing we were hit with is the rapid you see above. At the same time Shorty yelled out, "OK, smile for a picture"
