Fox Glacier

While I was in Queenstown I was convinced to go skydiving over a glacier. I was told it was much better than bunjee jumping, and I felt as though I should do one of those stunts before I left. So I signed up for a bus ride to Fox Glacier for the next day, a hotel room at the glacier and skydiving at 12,000 ft above the glacier.
Well, the next day it was crappy weather the whole way up in the bus. Then it was thunder storms at the glacier. The skydiving was obviously canceled and seeing as the weather was not going to clear up for another few days and there was nothing in the town of Fox Glacier but a dozen buildings in all, I decided to stay only one rainy night and move on the morning all the way to Christchurch, ahead of the weather.
My transportation to Christchurch was first a bus and then what's called the "most scenic train ride in the world". However, again due to the weather I found myself playing cards with a few people I met on the journey more than looking out the window or taking pictures. As you see I have none represented here on the website.
