Welcome one and all to my little travel site. What's this about you ask? Well, it's about me and my little trips. No you can't book your flight to Asia here or bid on cheap hotel rooms in Sydney. What I present here is my travel journal of these exotic locations. I most assuredly do not hit everything in each country, but I try to do as much as I can in the time I have. Your mileage may vary. I try to leave you with a good overall impression of what to expect if you travel like I do. And I know there are many of you out there, wherever you may be this month!

My trips usually start with me choosing a place in the world that has fairly nice weather and is maybe slightly off peak. Then with a trusty Lonely Planet, Rough Guide or, less frequently these days, a Let's Go guide in hand I grab my backpack and I'm off. If I make any reservations ahead of time it would be accommodations for my first night, and then I just wing it from there.

When I am really impressed by a hotel, restaurant, or any such service I try to give as much details about it as I can so that the adventurous reader can follow along. I mostly gear my sightseeing to things that you can't get anywhere else in the world. Thus pictorials of natural phenomenons, ancient ruins, odd adventures and meals greatly outnumber beach shots. But that's me.

I'm proud of a small percentage of my photos thank you very much. So I've chosen several that are nice as desktop wallpapers for your downloading pleasure. And it's a Canon PowerShot S330 for everyone I met along the way who asked. A much loved and highly recommend pocket digital camera.
