Ayuthaya Ayuthaya is just north of Bangkok. The ruins here are great and you should spend at least a full day to see them all. However, I did what I could in half a day. You must know the rules though. I thought the far right part of this sign was funny. It may be hard to make out. Many of the buddha statues have no head, so this warns that you shouldn't stand behind the statue (as a girl with Krusty the Clown hair demonstrates) and take a picture. You are here...
