Wat Yi, Phitsanulok Inside the temple is a Buddha statue that is very famous. Can't take pictures inside and at this point I still felt strange even entering temples thinking I was going to do something wrong. Shoes off, no shorts, no pictures... got it. Starting with this day, even with all the heat, I started wearing long pants all the time in the cities. I never knew when I was going to go inside a temple. Shorts are for the islands and trekking. I rarely saw Thais wearing shorts either, even on the islands. The Buddha statue is famous because it has fire cast in bronze surrounding the seated buddha.
