Cambodia, Poipet to Siem Reap We were finally picked up and greeted by a few people, but I was unsure if we should trust them. It turned out they were the good guys and they rounded us all up. Even they didn't know how many of us there were supposed to be. Finally our guide exclaimed, "Welcome to Cambodia... Tell all of your friends to come here... It is very safety in Cambodia... Thais are liars." We were piled into a minibus and drove for 6 hours down a road that was much like the surface of the moon. it was very slow going.
