Battambang bound boat ride 5:45 AM we were to leave our guesthouse to catch a boat. I set my alarm wrong and woke up at 5:50! After a mad dash of dressing and pouring all my stuff into my bag I made it downstairs to find that the bus hadn't arrived yet. As usual. Buses and tours are always late. After it finally arrived we took the bus out over again a horrible road to this area. It is a large muddy boating and fishing base. The poorest people I had seen so far lived along here. They were just bringing in their fishing for the day. We sat in our boat and waited as they brought up a secondary boat as there were too many people for the ride. You are here...
